What's up guys Lucas here and today I am going to show you guys about our day, let's get started!!!!!
So the first thing when we come in was working on catch up on northern lights art. Here is a fact about the northern lights. Northern lights that are red is rare so if there are red northern lights you are extremely lucky.

Okay maybe we are done with that and ready to move on to music. So in music we we did bob of flop, watched a movie that is 10 min long. We played winter broomstick. We have added a couple of new music making tools. Last we had some songs suggestion and my song was Titan speaker man theme song. If you have ever watched the youtuber:DaFuq!?BOOM!, you will know that song.

Anyways after we came back from music class we worked on some catch up work. 

We continued our decimal posters, and then we started recording our science videos using a site called FlipGrid! Ask me about it!

Tomorrow is hot chocolate day! Bring a mug!

Important notes:  1. Library starts next week 🩵   2. Terry Fox Run = Next Thursday 🏃 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We focused on Growth Mindset this week.  After watching some videos on Growth mindset, and learning about ways we can practice this in our daily lives, we created skits!  We learned a new word game...Maybe I can teach the family. We are working on Algebra in Math! In Science we wrapped up our multi- paragraph writing about body systems. and we started exploring matter. We were VERY busy using clay to add to a grade 5 legacy project this week, and busy creating something special for family members..... In Phys. Ed we played some throwing games!

  We explored some nature kits to prepare for our Field Trip next Thursday. We observed castings of skulls, foot prints, scat, and feet.      In Phys. Ed we are doing gymnastics! We practiced travels, balances and partner balances.          We celebrated Cultural Diversity Day on Wednesday. We designed flags, and many students wore their cultural clothing.            This linked well to our Social Studies learning, about how Canada is so diverse now, but how did that come to be?! We are learned about Samuel De Champlain (the father of New France), John Cabot and Jaques Cartier. They claimed land for England and France. This started the European settlers... We are working on Historical Skits about this too!  In Math we are working on Area and Perimeter, and discovering how 2 shapes can share the same area but have different perimeters.  We also focused on finding the measurements of sides when given the ...
