We explored some nature kits to prepare for our Field Trip next Thursday. We observed castings of skulls, foot prints, scat, and feet.

In Phys. Ed we are doing gymnastics! We practiced travels, balances and partner balances.

We celebrated Cultural Diversity Day on Wednesday. We designed flags, and many students wore their cultural clothing.

This linked well to our Social Studies learning, about how Canada is so diverse now, but how did that come to be?! We are learned about Samuel De Champlain (the father of New France), John Cabot and Jaques Cartier. They claimed land for England and France. This started the European settlers...

We are working on Historical Skits about this too!

In Math we are working on Area and Perimeter, and discovering how 2 shapes can share the same area but have different perimeters.
We also focused on finding the measurements of sides when given the total perimeter or area.

We walked to the Little Free Pantry on Thursday to hand deliver some of our donations that we collected. It felt so good to contribute to the community and give back .
