"We finished the Math Inspectors today! It is good!" - Rhythm
Ask us about the 4 corners game that we played in music today!
We listened to another creation story about the raven today. This had some similarities to the other creation stories that we have listened to so far in ELAL.
For Environmental Week we were able to head outside for some nature-inspired art. We got to make some beautiful collages of leaf rubbings.
In Makerspace our task was to create something that helps the environment. There were recycling sorters, machines that picked up dog poop, and garbage suckers!
We played some fun math activities today to practice reading, and organizing 6-digit numbers, but the challenge was we were not allowed to speak! Then we tried again, but we taped unknown numbers on our back and we had to ask questions to understand our number.
In science we focused on adaptations of Wetland species such as the water strider, damselfly, frog, and mallard duck.
Remember: we will be going on a community walk tomorrow afternoon!
