We started turning our research into paragraphs. Making paragraphs more captivating by writing interesting hooks and topic sentences was our focus. As we continued reading Out Of My Mind, the students worked on expressing their understanding by summarizing the book...so far. Ask me for a quick summary!  Another strategy to help enhance our comprehension was to write about a connection to a character.  Friday Nov. 22 "We learned how to make a lot of things, like the regions. We saw the pictures with clouds, water, trees so we tried to make it with Makerspace things." Beyan "We did art about regional maps. There were seven groups and there were all different regions. We used acrylic paint, water colour paint, watercolour crayons and pastels. We had to draw something to tell you about our region." -Nehal "We wrote a letter to a friend or someone in our class.
