Our second last week as grade 5 students!! :(  We have had A LOT of excitement this week. Of course, Tie-dye day and the Farewell with the clap out seem to be top on the list for the kids. understandably.  But we DID actually do a lot of great learning. We are researching the seigneurial system of New France in Social Studies, playing with circuits in Science, working on stacked multiplication in Math, and also doing some fraction work.  We are also plucking through the pages of The City of Ember!!!  Oh and we have had the opportunity to play Indigenous games outside for Phys. Ed in celebration of National Indigenous People's week.    Oh, and we had some special visitors! Mrs. Barnden brought in her twins for a visit! They mostly slept. But man, are they cute.

FIELD TRIP!

On Tuesday we had the opportunity to go to Telus Spark! It was a wonderful day. We explored, learned and played! The grade 5 team is especially grateful for the parents who braved the day...without you, we wouldn't have been able to have this experience!
